Topps Tiles launches 'Show off Your Style' interactive online competition

Tile and wood flooring specialist Topps Tiles has revealed an online competition and web app which invites homeowners and trade professionals to show off their DIY style through a newly-developed online community.

Entitled ‘Show off Your Style’, the competition is led by celebrity interior designer Julia Kendell with entrants encouraged to share pictures of their recently-renovated rooms via the Topps Tiles competition community. A specialist judging panel will then decide with an overall winner from the top ten pictures voted for on the ‘Shoot Share Win’ gallery.

The overall winner will take home an iPad4 and an exclusive home makeover for a friend or family member with Julia Kendell.

Of her part, Kendell said: “I am thrilled to be a part of this drive by Topps Tiles to create an online forum for ideas. I’m excited about joining the judging panel and look forward to seeing the handiwork of professionals and homeowners up and down the country.”

Both the competition and web app are part of Topps Tiles wider online marketing strategy which aims to grow the brands web-based community. The activity links to Topps Tiles social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Beth Boulton, head of marketing at Topps Tiles, added: “We’re looking forward to launching the Show off Your Style competition and developing social media as a key brand engagement tool.”
