The Royal Navy has unveiled a new responsive website devised by e3, as part of the wider ‘Life Without Limits’ initiative.

A new responsive web design utilising responsive HTML 5 design technology was developed by e3 to provide an animated layout which adapts to any screen size, be it mobile, desktop or tablet.

Aiming to appeal to 16-34 year olds the ‘Life Without Limits’ initiative sits at the heart of the Royal Navy recruitment drive.

Delivered in partnership with WCRS, Carat and M4c – the Royal Navy’s marketing, advertising and media buying agencies – e3 handled the Agile technology implementation of the responsive campaign pages, promoting and showcasing the lifestyles and potential careers in the Royal Navy.

Recruiting marketing manager at Royal Navy, Caroline Scott, commented: “We know our targeted website audience don't just access the Royal Navy site from desktop computers anymore and a high percentage come from mobile platforms - they are busy individuals, who are constantly on the move.

"This new campaign has used responsive design techniques to ensure it is optimised to fit on any screen, and meet this growing demand of users."
