Karmarama promotes Walker and de Souza as executive creative directors

Sam Walker and Joe de Souza have been appointed as executive creative directors at London-based independent integrated advertising agency Karmarama.

Walker and de Souza joined Karmarama in 2010 as creative directors, during their time with the agency they have worked on campaigns including Costa Coffee, Kerrygold, Carnival Cruises and Plusnet, with Walker directing the broadband provider’s recent ‘Days of Fibre’ campaign amongst others.

Both have worked with Mother and Fallon in the past, their new role sees Walker and de Souza tasked with leading the agency’s creative output across core advertising practice.

Of the news founder and chief creative officer, Dave Buonoguidi, said: “Since joining the agency Sam and Joe have been responsible for creating some of our most high profile work. Their recent work for clients such as Costa and Carnival rank amongst the highlights on the agency’s show reel, so I wish them well and congratulate them on this much deserved promotion.”

Walker added: “Joe and I are excited to take the helm at an agency that we are so proud to be part of. We have great ambitions for what we can achieve here.”
