Bacardi has appointed BETC to its global advertising account.
The Drum understands that the London based creative agency will pick up the account, which will include a rebranding and identity brief among more.
The pitch initially began in September and saw the rum brand separate from New York based incumbent Johannes Leonardo.
The contract handed to Brothers and Sisters to handle the brand’s local UK is understood to be unaffected.
At the time of writing no one from BETC or Bacardi was available for comment.
