Evolution Bureau hires Steve Babcock as executive creative director

San Francisco and London creative agency Evolution Bureau has announced the appointment of Steve Babcock as executive creative director.

Babcock joins from Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colorado where he spent six years as creative director or executive creative director on accounts such as Domino's Pizza, Best Buy and Volkswagen.

Daniel Stein, president of Evolution Bureau, commented: “We could not be more excited about having Steve join the EVB family as our new creative chief. It took me about three seconds after meeting him to recognize that this was the guy to lead EVB’s creative vision... He understands the relationship between digital innovation and traditional fundamentals better than anyone I have met. He also fits into our start-up culture perfectly, which is hugely important to us.”

Babcock takes on the role from Stephen Goldblatt, now chief digital officer for Mullen, with the agency set to open an office in Boulder that will supplement those in San Francisco and London.
