Samsung strikes up product placement deal for new Little Mix music video

The Samsung Galaxy Camera has featured in the new music video from X Factor winners Little Mix following a product placement deal brokered by Starcom MediaVest’s content division Liquid Thread.

The ‘Change your Life’ video has seen the Samsung Galaxy feature exclusivity in its technology category.

This latest deal has built on Samsung’s partnership with the 2012 series of X Factor, which included product placement in the show and bespoke behind the scenes footage.

Rupert Britton, content strategy director for Liquid Thread commented on the deal: “We are thrilled with the brand integration in the new Little Mix video ‘Change your Life’. It’s about aspiring to change your life for the better, and Samsung and the Galaxy Camera fit very naturally with this ethos.”

It has been fantastic to be able to seamlessly showcase some of this functionality in the Little Mix video.”
