Coke Zero has announced that it will be launching a limited-edition cherry flavour to the UK this month.

The first ever new variant from Coke Zero, available in 2L bottles and eight-packs of cans, will see a new pack design featuring a stand out cherry, which has aimed to bring to life the new taste as well as helping to catch the consumer’s eye.

Coke Zero Cherry will hit ASDA stores nationwide exclusively, with promotion supported through in-store media and display, sampling activity as well as online activity across the ASDA website, ASDA Facebook page and Coke Zone.

Zoe Howorth, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain commented on the activity: “This is an exciting addition to the Coke Zero family and the first limited edition variant for the brand.

“This variant helps to highlight how strongly the brand has established itself within the UK market and the appetite to evolve this offer. It’s fantastic to keep expanding our portfolio and strengthening the success of Zero since its launch in 2006 and this really puts a cherry on top for 2013!

“We are continually looking at ways in which we can evolve for consumers to deliver to them a refreshing range of choice drinks across our Coca-Cola portfolio.”
