Merlin Entertainment appoints Shaun Rhodes as cluster marketing manager for Manchester attractions
Shaun Rhodes has been appointed by Merlin Entertainments as cluster marketing manager for its Manchester attractions.
Rhodes joins Merlin Entertainment from McArthurGlen Designer Outlets where he held the role of marketing manager for almost eight years. As cluster marketing manager Rhodes will take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of marketing plans for SEA LIFE Manchester and LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTRE, which are both based at the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
The role also includes executing the marketing strategy for SEA LIFE Manchester’s opening in late spring 2013 and driving forward the ongoing marketing communications for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, including the forthcoming LEGO Star Wars MINILAND Model Display which is opening soon at the attraction.
Of the appointment, Rhodes said: “I am very much enjoying my new role, and working with such a talented and innovative new team. As the opening of SEA LIFE Manchester approaches, I am looking forward to seeing the culmination of many months hard work.
“This role is one in which all of my previous communications experience is of use and yet there is so much to learn about these fantastic brands too.”
