In the battle to rescue the 80% of online transactions that fail to even solicit an email address from potential customers, leading cart recovery specialist Ve Interactive has launched VeChat, a new Artificial Intelligence-based solution which will interact with online shoppers in an attempt to guide them to the information they want while shopping.

The sophisticated, Artificial Intelligence-based, multilingual software will now offer Ve Interactive clients the ability to initiate and blend real-time customer service and marketing into their online sales processe 24-hours a day, seven days a a week. The cutting edge system works by analysing metadata from a visitor’s online journey, and comparing it all in real time with information held by the merchant,VeChat can be triggered to engage dynamically and route the visitor intelligently, ensuring that they get exactly the information they want, and fast. Furthermore the AI gets smarter too. The more it learns about user journeys and especially issues causing basket abandonment, the more intelligent it becomes, meaning that consumers will be able to shop smarter too.

David J. Brown, CEO at Ve Interactive, says: “E-commerce sites are under mounting pressure to deliver revenue performance in an increasingly competitive market and so we have responded to demand with this driver in mind.

“Designed to help e-commerce merchants find new customers, as well as retain existing ones, the economics of using an AI-based software like VeChat over human chat and call centres, means that margins are maintained for them and real time urgency can be achieved. That way they can keep their visitors engaged with their sites, supplying them online support, increasing their product awareness and nudging them through to conversion.

“Cart abandonment should not be dealt with as an isolated problem; it is tunnel vision to ignore the wider online efficiency issues that feed it. At Ve Interactive we continually invest in developing new technologies to provide additional optimisation and conversion tools for our clients. This ensures that they can always respond to changing buyer behaviours and new platforms, and so boost conversions and website productivity.”

Head-quartered in London’s Tech City, multinational Ve Interactive, founded in 2009 is a data-driven-solutions company, operating in the e-commerce software sector and was named the Marketing Services Company of the Year 2012 by The Drum.

Ve Interactive is a member of MiNetwork, the membership organisation which works with ambitious agency owners to help them grow better businesses.
