Big appoints Matt Butterworth as executive digital director

Big has today announced the appointment of Matt Butterworth as executive digital director, where he will cover marketing activity including social, mobile, search, PPC, CRM as well as future technologies.

Butterworth replaces Dan Neville, who recently left Big to join WAA.

Butterworth said: “Big presents an incredibly exciting opportunity at a perfect time in my career. The chance to play an instrumental part in driving Big’s digital strategy using my expertise and experience is one that I’m relishing and incredibly excited by.”

Previously, Butterworth has worked as European strategy director for Amaze, as well as having set up his own agency, Folk Creative.
