abundant appoints Maya Jenkins as head of marketing

abundant has announced the appointment of Maya Jenkins as head of marketing, joining from the role of marketing manager at Universal Pictures.

In her new role, Jenkins will be heading up the creation and implementation of the agency’s marketing strategy and taking an active role in business development.

James Wilkins, creative director at abundant commented: “We’re thrilled to have Maya on board for what is going to be an extremely exciting time for the company. 2012 was a fantastic year for us and we believe that with the team that we have, and the additions we’ll be making in the next 12 months will stand us in great stead to take on some massive new projects.

“We’ve laid some strong foundations since abundant began, and the client work we’ve already delivered in that time has been bold, and hugely successful. With a dedicated head of marketing we can really capitalise on our creativity and strengthen integration which will generate incredible results for clients, old and new.”

This is the first significant hire by the agency this year, as it looks to expand.

Jenkins commented: “I have greatly admired the innovative approach that abundant take to projects during my time working with them at Universal. With the planned expansion I believe that this next year will consolidate their position as one of the most exciting, creative and client focused agencies in the Entertainment business.”
