News International has announced the appointment of Parys Communications, with the agency set to position the company commercially as an innovative partner for advertisers and planners.

Abba Newbery, director of advertising strategy for News International Commercial, told Gorkana: "Parys Communications really understood our brief and we were impressed with their creative thinking. They have a track record of working on commercial projects for major media brands and we look forward to working with the team."

This comes after the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) has appointed Parys Communications in November for a three month project to position the organisation as a leading voice on digital media.

Parys will also work on a trade media relations campaign to target the media and marketing community.
