Direct and digital agency LIDA has announced the promotion of Jonathan Goodman to managing partner.

Goodman has been promoted from the role of group account director, and the news follows the appointment of Victoria Fox as managing director.

As managing partner Goodman will lead the Virgin Holidays and IKEA accounts across the M&C Saatchi Group reporting directly to chairman and chief strategy officer (CSO) Matthew Heath.

During his time as group account director Goodman worked predominately on the IKEA account and was responsible for the ‘Snap a Napper’ campaign.

Prior to joining LIDA, Goodman worked at Kitcatt Nohr as account director, heading up campaigns for the likes of DoH, Logitech, NSPCC and Friends Reunited. Goodman also led its Toyota and Lexus accounts, where he managed strategic and creative development on both acquisition and retention.

Chairman and chief strategy officer, Matthew Heath, commented: “The amount and range of recent appointments reflects the depth of our accelerated growth. Jono has proved his immense worth during his two years at the agency and his promotion is well deserved. He’s played a large part in the recent success of LIDA. Not only does he show a huge amount of flair and ambition, he also has a genuine passion for the agency.”
