Empty13, the marketing communications conversation being held around what brands and agencies will communicate during the relatively quiet year ahead, will hold its first event of the year, with a keynote presentation by Google UK & Ireland managing director Dan Cobley.

The half-day event will aim to focus on the technology and digital media shifts that are expected to take place this year, alongside consumer behavioural changes that marketers will need to be made aware of.

Alongside Cobley, others speaking will include Justin Pearse, head of innovation at Bite, Bruce Daisley, Twitter UK director and Jon Mew, director of mobile and operations at the Internet Advertising Bureau amongst others.

A panel discussion will also take place featuring Richard Eyre, chairman of IAB, Peter Clare, head of digital at Bacardi, Craig Hepburn, global digital director for Nokia, Roberto Kusabbi, head of social media at Tottenham Hotspur FC and Azeem Azhar, founder of PeerIndex.
