ŠKODA Finance has launched a DM package with ais London, which aims to cheer up those who don’t want to part with their old ŠKODA.

The letter opens with, “We know it might be hard to say goodbye”, and comes with a personalised pack of tissues which say “It’s okay, [Name]. It’s okay…”

The campaign aims to reassures owners that they can easily change their old car for a brand new ŠKODA model with the help of ŠKODA Finance.

Geoff Gower, managing partner for creative at ais London, added: “In a congested market, ŠKODA customers have a great deal of affection for the brand – and that was our start-point. ŠKODA is synonymous with friendly customer service, and the campaign plays on that tone, highlighting the benefits of changing their car for another new ŠKODA and continuing to use ŠKODA Finance, whilst acknowledging how hard it is to say goodbye to a faithful, four-wheeled friend (sniff).”

Wendy Owen, marketing manager at ŠKODA Finance, added: “Although a customer is coming to the end of their contract, it doesn’t have to be the end of the road. ais London has created a charming DM pack, which highlights this superbly to our loyal customers. We’re thrilled with the final result, which both comforts and enlightens our existing customers on the benefits available if they invest in a brand new model.”

The pack will be sent to all ŠKODA Finance customers nearing the end of their contract.
