Kitbag.com media planning and buying account to be handled by the7stars

Kitbag.com, the one stop sports shop, has awarded the7stars its media planning and buying account with immediate effect.

Along with managing Kitbag's planned spend in 2013 across print and digital the7stars will also launch Kitbag's 'Equipped' brand campaign digitally and in press, aimed at growing the business and exposing it to new audiences.

Kitbag CEO, Andy Anson, commented: "the7stars demonstrated the imagination and creative flair necessary to do a great job for Kitbag. This will be our most significant investment in advertising to date, so it was essential that we found an agency that was a perfect fit for the business.

"We are excited to be working with the7stars, and we’re looking forward to a big year for Kitbag in 2013."

Prior to appointing the7stars the Kitbag account has been managed internally. The Corner will be handling the campaign creative.

Sam Farrand, account strategist at the7stars, added: "Kitbag is one of the few brands that can legitimately talk about expertise in the sports sector, and has grown impressively to date with very little advertising spend.

"By introducing Kitbag to a wider audience in 2013, we are confident that we can build on all their good work and take the brand to the next level."
