GLAMOUR magazine designs clothing range for Very.co.uk

Women’s magazine GLAMOUR and online retailer Very.co.uk have joined forces to launch the GLAMOUR collection, available exclusively from the fashion-forward etailer.

From Monday 4 February the exclusive collection will be available to buy on the Very.co.uk website with prices ranging from £15 to £59. The S/S13 edit will comprise of 13 pieces focusing on timeless wardrobe classics including a tweed biker jacket, sharp-collared white shirt, slouchy sweatshirt, puffball mini skirt and black broderie shirt dress, featuring a muted monochrome colour palatte of whites, blacks and greys with a touch of pink.

A slimmed down mid-season update of the collection in planned for April/May with a larger A/W13 range and a further mid-season edit due in October/November 2013.

Joining the likes of Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby, the GLAMOUR collection has been designed exclusively for Very.co.uk by the magazine’s editor Jo Elvin, along with creative and fashion director Charlotte-Anne Fidler and senior fashion editor Sophie Cooper.

Of the collection, Elvin commented: “The team at GLAMOUR and I have loved every minute of designing this collection for Very.co.uk. Our aim for the first collection was to create the building blocks of a great wardrobe with pieces that are classic with an edge.”

Very.co.uk director Jon Owen added: “We are absolutely thrilled to have GLAMOUR magazine on board as our new design partner. The collection that Jo, Charlotte-Anne and Sophie have created is a perfect fit for Very.co.uk and our customers – quirky and fashion-forward yet timeless and 100% wearable. We predict big things for the GLAMOUR collection and for our continued collaboration over the coming seasons.”

To launch the collection the March 2013 issue of GLAMOUR will feature a four-page editorial special, Elvin, Fidler and Cooper will also be joining Very.co.uk for a Google+ hangout at 6pm on Monday 11 February.
