Ah, the 90s. A time of Tamagochis, creaking modems and terrible bowl hair cuts...

That's how Microsoft remembers the decade anyway, and its cute trip down memory lane to promote the changing face of Internet Explorer has obviously struck a chord with Generation Y.

The 90s nostalgia trip has been viewed more than 8 million times and goes straight in at number one in the Brand Chart with 170,000 social media shares.

If the very thought of people getting nostalgic for the 90s is making you feel old, then the User Generated Content chart won't make you feel any younger.

The brilliant 9-year-old 'Kid President' takes top spot this week with his pep talk to the nation, which has clocked up more than 470,000 social shares.

The charts are compiled with the Viral Ad Network and are based on the number of shares each video has received on social media over the last seven days.
