McCoy’s crisps to launch ‘Mega Darts’ campaign

Snack brand McCoy’s has announced it is to launch a new on-pack promotion to harness its sponsorship of McCoy’s Premier League Darts and official snack of the Professional Darts Corporation.

Devised by Billington Cartmell the campaign connects to an online presence, including an ‘explosive’ competition which launches on 1 February.

Mega Darts allows participants to control the outcome of pre-recorded footage by lobbing eplosive laden objects at an oversized darts board for the chance to win a raft of prizes including adventure experiences and darts tickets.

Targeted at adult males the campaign will run through to the end of July and will be supported both in store and online via social media sites.

Giles Dempsey, Business Director at Billington Cartmell, said: “We wanted to create something bigger than a traditional on-pack promotion, giving consumers something to get excited about, while building the brand’s profile as the ‘man crisp’”.
