It has been reported that the independent directors, who refused to back Rupert Murdoch’s choices as the new editors for the Times and the Sunday Times, are not due to meet again until March.

Earlier this month,

Pushed back from February, a date for the meeting has not yet been decided, the Guardian has said.

James Harding left his role as editor at the end of December, with rumours that this was "at the request of News Corp".
