Partnerships and content agency MEC Access has named former Innovision head of entertainment Lisa Daly as head of event partnership.

Daly has now been tasked with leading the agency’s event sponsorship activity including strategic planning across the agency’s portfolio of clients including McCoys, Danone and Xerox. She brings with her more than 13 years’ experience working with global brands such as Vodafone, Cadbury and Bacardi.

As head of event partnership Daly will also identify content-rich partnership solutions, ensuring MEC’s clients are using these to help achieve the best results. Reporting to managing director Tove Okunniwa, Daly will also be responsible for a team of eight staff.

MEC Access has also confirmed that Mark Knight has been brought into the agency as strategy director and Alexis Darker has been promoted to account manager. Knight has 13 years of experience working as a sponsorship and marketing consultant for agencies including Redmadarin and FRUKT. Prior to joining MEC, Darker held the role of sponsorship account planner at Global Radio.

Speaking of the appointments, Okunniwa said: “Lisa's experience and expertise speaks for itself, she’s a real talent and we're certain that she will help the agency maintain its position at the forefront of the partnerships industry. We’re also delighted to bolster our ranks with Alexis and Mark, both of whom bring superb industry experience to MEC Access and will really help us continue to deliver outstanding work.”
