Communications group Hasgrove expects to announce a gross income of around £19.1 million, alongside a pre-tax profit of £1.4 million for last year.

The company, which made a loss of £3 million the year before, saw a significant improvement in its fortunes during 2012, despite ‘a challenging year’ being had for its creative and design agency The Chase.

The group said that through its marketing, technical and e-commerce teams working with large organisations, it was able to deliver ‘a number’ of new client contracts, including working with ASICS.

Paul Sanders, group CEO for Hasgrove, described 2012 as “a good year”, claiming that it was due to the company’s focus on efficiencies and an improved project delivery process.

“The level and quality of new business wins so far, combined with our strong revenue pipelines give us continued confidence for the year ahead,” he added.

The full year results will be published in April.
