Grant’s Whisky is in the early stages of reviewing its global above-the-line advertising account.

It is understood that the brand is in early stages of speaking to agencies and holding chemistry sessions ahead of any formal agency approaches to pitch.

The company has not responded to The Drum’s approach for clarification on the review, however it is unlikely to affect the ongoing work with Karmarama Group’s Crayon, which picked up the global social media digital account early last year or of Aqueduct, appointed it’s lead UK digital agency last June.

The Observatory is running the process.

The brand last pitched its above-the-line account in 2007 which eventually went to My Agency.

Last year, the brand agreed a £2 million sponsorship deal with ITV4 to support the channel’s drama content from this month.
