It has been two weeks since KFC said that the kidney found by Ibrahim Langoo could ‘undo millions of dollars spent in advertising’, and now it is facing the crisis all over again as a second 'chicken kidney' has been found in one of its meals.

A Reddit user, called six6six4kids, uploaded the picture of the meal with the title: "Got some KFC tonight, it tasted like death, peeled back the skin and this was inside."

Following the post on January 23, over 4,000 people commented including many current and ex-employees who revealed how food is prepared at the fast food chain.

KFC has not responded to the latest image, but at the time of Langoo's discovery a KFC spokesman said: "Although we haven’t received the product, it appears from a photograph that unfortunately on this occasion a kidney, and not a brain as claimed, was not removed in the preparation process.

"We’re very sorry about Mr Langoo’s experience and while there was no health risk, we agree it was unsightly."
