Headspace has appointed digital-focused creative agency Weapon7 the account for its digital business.

Headspace is a social enterprise aiming to improve health and well being through meditation

Following a competitive pitch against a number of US and UK agencies, Weapon7 has initially been tasked with revamping the Headspace website layout, design and build to improve user experience and increase customer retention.

The website is to feature an e-commerce platform, database restructure and content management system, and is set to launch later this year along with the new Headspace app developed by The App Business.

Headspace managing director Shona Mitchell, commented: “The growth of digital and social media is creating exciting new opportunities for Headspace. Weapon7 is the perfect partner; they bring extensive digital experience and strategic leadership which will contribute significantly to the continued growth of our capabilities in an efficient and scalable manner.”
