Aston University is looking to raise the engagement levels of its students in a new marketing campaign, which offers those studying at the university the chance to #tweetyourdean.

The deans from the school of engineering and applied science, languages and social sciences, life and health sciences and the Aston business school are all taking part in the campaign.

Grace Mills, marketing officer at the division of engineering and applied science, said: “Here at Aston listening to our students is paramount in all of our marketing activity, our recent ‘You Asked, We Acted’ campaign highlights this with many of the suggestions coming through from social media so our ‘Tweet the Dean’ event is in the forefront of where our students are, which is online.

“Having the ability to interact with students worldwide allows us to build rapport with our potential students and answer any queries they may have quickly and efficiently. We look forward to continually push the social boundaries in the Higher Education sector becoming ever closer to our students around the world.”

It is hoped that students will take the opportunity to discuss or query their dean on the course, facilities or the Union.
