Debt charity StepChange has launched a nationwide TV campaign to highlight its services in the wake of its recent rebrand from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service.

It aims to highlight the deleterious effects debt can have on sleep patterns brought on by anxiety, outlining the assistance StepChange can provide to alleviate such difficulties.

Created by Brass and directed by Ridley Scott Associates the 40 and 30-sec commercials will run until the end of March on ITV 1.

David Lavelle, managing partner at Brass, said: "We wanted to create a campaign which stands out and focuses on the lasting benefits StepChange Debt Charity advice can provide. We realised that sleeping peacefully is shorthand for the transforming effect that free expert advice can have on people."
