Coca-Cola is to build on its iconic polar bear mascots with the launch of a nationwide TV campaign branded ‘Arctic Home’.

Launched in partnership with the WWF the campaign aims to protect the habitat of polar bears as the species comes under increasing pressures arising from climate change.

In a bid to save the animals from extinction Coca-Cola drinkers are being urged to donate to a campaign run by the wildlife charity to mitigate the loss of glaciers which the polar bears use as hunting platforms when seeking seals.

The campaign has already accumulated some 1,497 shares from those concerned by the animals plight .
