In the same week that a ‘how to pronounce agency name’ guide went viral, creative duo Rob Donaldson and Joe Dennett have shown the world where agency names came from.

From being named after the founder, to being named after objects, the infographic the Hungry Creatives has unveiled shows what route different agencies went down.

Major categories branch into sub-divisions, with some agencies fitting between two categories: for example, The Red Brick Road fits into both fictional and colour.
