Invasion Travel has selected Mere PR to help promote its trips to twenty somethings looking to get away on a budget.

Mere PR has been tasked with raising the travel operator’s profile with students and young people across the UK.

Of the appointment, Lee McAteer, co-owner of Invasion Travel, said: “Invasion is all about fun and we wanted a PR partner that reflected that. In addition to its evident travel experience and contacts, Mere PR also showed great creativity with its plans for our brand and we can’t wait to see its ideas in action.”

The travel team at Mere PR will now work on a PR campaign for the brand including media relations, promotions and organising press trips and student events. Mere PR is already working on the first press trip to Amsterdam, planned for spring 2013.

Mere PR director Victoria Maltby added: “Invasion is a fun brand that offers fantastic value holidays and travel experiences for young people and we’re really looking forward to helping them raise their profile.”
