Tim Luckett named as co-chair of global crisis communications and risk management practice at Hill+Knowlton

Global public relations and communications firm Hill + Knowlton has appointed Tim Luckett as co-chair of the global crisis communications and risk management practice with immediate effect.

With more than 20 years of media and PR experience handling high profile crises across a range of sectors and has most recently served as head of crisis for Hill + Knowlton EMEA based in London.

“In the past year, Tim has grown crisis revenue in the EMEA region by more than 30 per cent, leading and coordinating some of Europe’s largest clients,” said Jack Martin, global chairman and CEO.

“In his new role as co-chair of the global crisis practice, Tim will continue to manage issues and crises across all time zones and regions. His experience in developing and managing crisis communication strategies for high-profile companies will undoubtedly prove beneficial to our clients facing or anticipating a crisis situation.”

Luckett joins Chris Gidez as co-chair of the global practice, Luckett and Gidez will now provide counsel and support to companies and organisations worldwide as they prepare for, manage and recover from reputation-threatening situations.

Of his appointment, Luckett said: “Crises have significant consequences on companies both in terms of reputations and bottom line…I look forward to ensuring the quality, consistency and relevance of our crisis offer on a global basis.”
