Reebok International has announced the appointment of DDB Worldwide as its global agency of record, with the account to be led from New York.

Coming only days after the United States Tennis Association appointed DDB New York as its agency of record, this second sporting contract will begin with the development of work for 2014.

Amir Kassaei, chief creative officer at DDB Worldwide, said: “Our partnership with Reebok started in 2009 and we’re thrilled to work together again. We have an opportunity to redefine the fitness category and we’re ready to create conversations that move the brand forward.”

According to Little Black Book, DDB Worldwide will hold responsibility for running digital, advertising and social campaigns for Reebok.
