King.com has announced the creation of an international advertising partnership with Unilever, which will see game Bubble Saga take on new character.

As part of the promotion, ‘Surfy’, a character created for Unilever laundry brand Surf, will take over the reins for Bubble Saga Princess for the next six months. Users will be able to visit ‘Planet Surf’ where they will receive a free Surf branded booster that will help them complete levels in the game, and watching Surf ads will help the user gain more lives.

The deal will begin today and will cover Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, France, United Kingdom, Thailand, Turkey, Philippines and Romania.

Alex Dale, chief marketing officer at King.com, said: “We’re really excited to be working with Surf and Unilever. Bubble Saga is a natural fit with Surf, given its high number of female players and high levels of user engagement. We are able to provide a safe and fun location for consumer brands to engage with a large female audience in an innovative, dynamic and accessible way.”

The campaign will also be promoted through the King.com network of games.
