Kenyon Fraser appointed to promote 2013 Grand National
Jockey Club Racecourses has announced the appointment of marketing communications consultancy Kenyon Fraser to promote the Grand National in 2013.
The partnership will see Kenyon Fraser provide marketing, PR and creative services to the Grand National as well as well as interim strategic marketing support whilst Jockey Club Racecourses appoint a regional head of marketing.
Kenyon Fraser managing director, Richard Kenyon, said: “It’s an absolute honour to be appointed to this brief. As well as being the biggest paid-for visitor attraction in the Liverpool City Region - where our head office is based – it’s also an event with a huge global audience, one of the most watched sporting event in the world!
“It goes without saying that our team are excited to be extending our work with Aintree and to be providing this support for the National. While all of the events we work with are completely different, there are some trends and insights we have found from our other work in attracting new audiences for other events that I’m sure will help in our work with the National.”
Kenyon Fraser previously promoted the National in 2011 and last year worked on The Open Golf, Liverpool International Tennis Tournament and the Southport Flower Show.
