City Health Care Partnership in Hull, which is responsible for providing NHS services to residents of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, has retained Lee Creative Marketing after a competitive pitch process.

Bottomley has worked on clients such as Mercedes, Pizza Hut and HMV.

It is understood that Lee Creative Marketing is the only one of eight former roster agencies to retain its place and as part of the framework agreement set up by CHCP and Lee Creative will now provide marketing support, including planning, campaign, advertising, social media and PR alongside a number of other agencies. The framework is for an initial three year period with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

Lee Creative has worked with CHCP, formerly NHS Hull Provider Services for over five years and is responsible for most of the activity currently used to promote its stop smoking and weight management services. The agency is currently busy planning a local campaign for the Hull Eating Disorder Service due to launch in early Spring, and recently launched the Hull & East Riding Stop Smoking Service’s New Year campaign which includes outdoor media, radio advertising, merchandise and leaflet distributions.

Speaking of the appointment Nadia Hemmings, marketing account director at Lee Creative Marketing, said: "Whilst we were disappointed that we were required to re-tender to carry on the good work we were doing, we are happy to be retained, which gives us another chance to prove our worth. As we were the only agency of the eight to be retained in the category, we take pride in knowing that we listened to what the client’s objectives were and executed them to obtain successful results. We look forward to producing some more exciting and successfully campaigns"

Also Lee Creative Marketing has boosted its account management team with the appointment of Jonny Bottomley, who will be taking on responsibility for a number of existing clients, which include Willerby Holiday Homes, Ideal Heating, First Hull Trains and KC, whilst also working on new business projects.

Bottomley has recently relocated from London where he worked on clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Ford, HMV, Pizza Hut, T-Mobile, The Car Shop and Great Rail Journeys. On his appointment Bottomley said: “I have found a fantastic agency here who shares my passion for not only first class work but also for great customer service. I am looking forward to getting involved.”

Hemmings added: “We are delighted to welcome Jonny to the team. He is the third new team member to join us in the past couple of months so we are really excited about the future and look forward to introducing Jonny to clients. His experience is sure to be an asset to everyone.”

The agency also recently launched its first ever apprenticeship scheme and has recently recruited two young people into the industry, one to focus on marketing and the other on digital.
