Chemist Direct selects Albion to develop new brand idenity and e-commerce redesign

Online chemist Chemist Direct has appointed digitally led creative agency Albion to develop a new brand identity and redevelop its e-commerce platform.

Albion won the account without a pitch and will now work with the brand on the launch of its new website which is due to take place in 2013.

Speaking of the appointment Chemist Direct CEO, Stuart Rowe, said: “Albion was the obvious choice for us when looking for a creative business partner who could work with us across different areas of our business.”

Launched in November 2007, Chemist Direct supplies cheaper pharmaceutical products to internet users under a service supervised by fully qualified pharmacists who are able to discuss symptoms and issues about medical problems via email or telephone.

Jason Goodman, Albion CEO, added: “Chemist Direct is an exciting and ambitious challenger to traditional high street chemist dominance.

“We’re incredibly excited to be working with them to develop both their brand and product and drive this next stage of their growth.”
