Piers Morgan finished up on the receiving end of a scary pro-gun rant after he invited radio host Alex Jones on to his CNN show to discuss the campaign led by Jones to "Deport Piers Morgan".

An angry Jones warned that the American revolution of 1776 "will commence again if you try to take away our firearms."

The White House anti-Piers petition now has more than 104,000 signatures after the CNN host, in an earlier angry interview, advocated tough gun control in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre.

Conservative pundit Jones first came to prominence as a radio host who argued, among other things, that the U.S. government was involved in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Jones began on the CNN Piers show by arguing that world governments and "the megabanks that control the planet" are conspiring to take guns away from regular citizens.

"They've taken everybody's guns, but the Swiss and the American people," he said. The 2nd Amendment, he went on to argue, was created to "protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs."

Over the course of the tirade -- during which he talked about the recent high-profile gang rape in India -- Jones grew more and more irate before finally boiling over ,saying:

"I'm here to tell you, 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! Doesn't matter how many lemmings you get out there on the street, begging for 'em to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?

"That's why you're going to fail, and the establishment knows, no matter how much propaganda, the republic will rise again!"
