Integrated agency Marketing Matters has joined the Emerge group, which comprises local agencies including Aylesworth Fleming and Thinking Juice.

The move to the group, which boasts a £45million turnover, has involved all of the existing staff staying with the business and moving to the new Holland House headquarters.

Marketing Matters’ directors Andy Legg and Tina Davis will continue to head the business and have set out a blueprint for strategic growth over the next three years.

Speaking on the move Andy Legg said: “We have known the guys at Emerge for many years and have always enjoyed a mutual respect between our various businesses. We are very excited at the prospect of working together and having access to such a deep and talented resource.”

Meanwhile fellow director Tina Davis commented: “One of the things we liked about the set up at Emerge was the way the very different and distinctive agencies operated within it.”

“Marketing Matters is a unique business and we all agree it should stay that way. We are known internationally for our expertise in the marine and finance markets and we plan to develop that skill set and increase our appeal to major companies in those sectors, having access to offices worldwide will only enhance our offering,” she said.

Gellan Watt, Emerge director and group chief creative officer added: “We are working on some very exciting projects at the moment, for some very big international businesses. The team at MM share our ambition and have their sights set very high.”
