Unemployed media production graduate Adam Pacitti has taken the unusual step of hiring a billboard in London in a bid to gain full time employment.

Pacitti spent his last £500 on hiring the billboard after sending his CV for at least 250 different positions to no avail.

“'I thought traditional advertising could work to promote it.” commented Pacitti.

Along with the billboard Pacitti has also created the website employadam.com and has been actively Tweeting his plight along with images of the billboard, adding “I’ve had over 7,000 re-Tweets”.

Speaking of the campaign Pacitti said: “I came up with the idea for the video and billboard about three months ago, and managed to save up £500 while working.

“I called in favours from friends and asked studios, and made the video, and decided to post the billboard in London, because that's where most of the jobs are.

“I thought this would be a way of showing my personality and my experience.”

According to Pacitti his dream job would be as a junior producer and cites production, advertising and social media as his skills.

So far he has received some emails from companies, but no official job offer.
