Pret a Manger appoints Mark Palmer as marketing director

Sandwich chain Pret a Manger has appointed former Green & Black’s marketer Mark Palmer as its new marketing manager, taking over the role from Mark McCulloch.

Palmer, who has previously worked with brands including Union Hand roasted Coffee, Cawson Press, First Natural Brands and Burger King, has become responsible for the businesses marketing and advertising including local and national activity, digital in-store and CSR strategy.

In his senior management role at Green & Black’s, Palmer oversaw the businesses sale to Cadbury in 2005. Following six years as marketing director at the company, he took on a part time non-executive role at the brand which comes to an end later this year.
