Dulux launches Let’s Colour Awards as part of wider 2013 strategy

Dulux looks set to extend its brand beyond paint in 2013, with the launch of the Let’s Colour Awards.

Forming part of the Dulux overarching marketing strategy, the awards look to move Dulux away from just being known as a paint brand and towards being a preferred colour and decorative partner.

The awards will aim to celebrate ‘innovative use of colour across creative industries and beyond’.

Dulux marketing controller Jenny Hall said: “Our aim is for Dulux to become the brand that people turn to at every stage of the decorating process, from their initial inspiration to bringing to life a full interiors scheme. The Let’s Colour Awards not only gives us the opportunity to celebrate what we are passionate about - colour - but also to shift perceptions of the brand, by championing the innovative use of colour across industries such as fashion, beauty, technology and design.”
