Johnston Press teams up with Madhouse Associates to launch thesmartlist.co.uk recruitment site

Johnston Press has enlisted integrated marketing agency Madhouse Associates to design and launch its new fixed price recruitment website following a three-way pitch.

The media organisation has now briefed the Manchester-based agency to develop a brand identity and website for its latest offering, thesmartlist.co.uk.

For the project the Madhouse creative team has devised ‘CV2U’, a character which guides users through the process of submitting a vacancy and searching for applicants via easy to follow animations.

Stephen Anderson, general manager of thesmartlist.co.uk at Johnston Press commented: “Madhouse impressed us from the start of the pitching process by answering our brief with a clear strategic and creative approach. This, coupled with the agency’s experience of working in the digital arena and the team’s passion for The Smartlist, set them apart from the competition and ensured there was only one agency we wanted to work with.

For a fixed price of £549 thesmartlist.co.uk offers businesses a recruitment service throughout the UK operating in a number of industries, including both the public and private sector.
