Cathedral City to remain as title sponsor for England Netball’s Fast Net Grand Prix

Cathedral City’s Mature Lighter brand has confirmed it is once again to assume the title sponsor role for England Netball’s Fast Net Grand Prix.

The Cathedral City Mature Lighter Fast Net Grand Prix will feature all eight Netball Superleague franchises. The event will be hosted by reigning Fast Net and NSL Champions, Manchester Thunder, at Manchester’s Wright Robinson Sports Arena on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 January 2013.

Cathedral City marketing manager, Jackie Wilson, commented: “The Fast Net Grand Prix has already become a key, exciting date in our calendar. Our mission at Cathedral City Mature Lighter is to show consumers that being healthy doesn’t always involve compromising pleasure and enjoyment. In some ways what we are doing for cheese, netball is doing for exercise. We would love to use our connection to inspire more women to take to the courts.”

As title sponsor the brand will take four courtside advertising boards and composite logo which will feature on-court and across all promotional materials. Cathedral City Mature Lighter is also an official sponsor of Netball Superleague, running from February to May 2013.

Joanna Adams, head of marketing and commercial at England Netball, added: “We are delighted that Cathedral City Mature Lighter will support both the Fast Net Grand Prix and NSL again in 2013. As a brand we feel Cathedral City Mature Lighter really connects with the type of women we increasingly see coming back to the sport for sociable, health and nostalgia reasons.”
