Alan Kittle, former creative director at TeamSpirit and Kenyon Fraser, has joined Harte-Hanks technology agency Mason Zimbler.

Kittle will hold the post of creative director at the Bristol agency, taking over from Julian Burrett who left to go freelance in August. He will lead a team of 15, reporting to managing director James Trezona.

Trezona said that the agency needed “a heavy weight presence” to lead its creative department as it entered the next phase of development.

“Alan is a first-rate creative director who has what it takes to keep his team stimulated and hungry for the next great piece of creative. His ability to spot the nucleus of an idea that people will connect with at an emotional level is truly inspiring. We expect 2013 to be a significant year for Mason Zimbler. With Alan at the helm, I’m confident that our creative team will reach ever greater heights,” added Trezona.

Kittle commented: “Mason Zimbler has a wealth of data and insight at its fingertips which can underpin breakthrough, razor-sharp creative thinking. The entire team shares a passion for great creative, and understands the importance of innovative, intuitive marketing in the digital age. I am thrilled to be here.”

It is understood that Kittle has already taken up his role at the agency.
