Go Daddy names former Yahoo! chief product officer Blake Irving as CEO
Go Daddy, the web hosting company, has announced that Blake Irving, former chief product officer for Yahoo! as its new CEO.

Irving, who resigned from Yahoo! in April, will succeed Scott Wagner, who has been acting as interim CEO since July.
Bob Parsons, founder and executive chairman of Go Daddy, said that Irving’s technology experience and history in developing ‘cutting-edge products’ made him the right choice to drive the company.
The company currently services nearly 11 million customers, mainly small businesses, and acquired cloud-based financial management application Outright.com in the summer.
Irving said: "As a long time Go Daddy customer, I have seen firsthand an organisation that is committed to its customers 24 hours a day and seven days a week and yet there still remains much more we can do to enhance the customer experience."
