Digital focused creative agency Weapon 7 has appointed Matthew Robinson as its managing partner.

Having previously worked with the agency’s CEO Adam Graham at Saint, the digital sister agency of RKCR/Y&R, the move reunites the pair.

At Weapon 7 Robinson will be responsible for leading the new business drive as well as the management of the agency alongside Adam Graham.

Robinson joins Weapon 7 from Anomaly where, as head of business development (UK), he led both account management and new business disciplines. During his time with the agency Anomaly picked up significant business wins including Sony Music, Bench, Budweiser and Skype.

Of the appointment, Graham commented: “In hiring Matthew, we’re reuniting a very effective management team, with a proven track record of helping clients develop their brands. Weapon7 are enjoying a strong end to the year with several new business wins, so look set for big things in 2013.”
