Dessert brand Gü has joined forces with Publicis Chemistry to create interactive Advent Calendars to be housed on market-specific and mobile-friendly microsites in the UK, France and Germany.

Each day Gü’s interactive Advent Calendars will invite people to open a fridge to reveal a decadent daily prize in the run up to Christmas.

The campaign kicked off with a teaser video online showcasing time lapse footage of the Calendar’s creation, while the promotion will be seeded via regional-specific activity on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the Gü website.

Social integration with the brand’s microsites has been developed in a bid to encourage sharing amongst Gü fans.

Gü’s global creative manager, Lizzie Hanbury-Tenison, commented: “This Christmas we wanted to reward our loyal pud lovers and social media communities with a fun, very Gü twist on the traditional advent calendar.

“Thanks to some very generous brand partners we have been able to pull together some fantastic prize collaborations made even more entertaining by daily video clues featuring our very own Head Chef, Fred Ponnavoy.”
