Tribal DDB Amsterdam has announced the promotion of Pol Hoenderboom and Bart Mol to creative directors, with immediate effect.

The pair have been working as a creative duo since 2010, and have worked on the ‘Obsessed with Sound’ campaign platform for Philips; as well as brands such as Heineken, Volkswagen and McDonald’s.

Chris Baylis, executive creative director at Tribal DDB Amsterdam, said: “Pol and Bart have created some of the most memorable work to come out of the agency in the last few years. It seems only right that they get the opportunity to transfer their expertise and enthusiasm to the rest of the organization and to a wider portfolio of clients. We believe in continuously evolving. Pol and Bart are the creative directors of the future, and that’s what DDB and Tribal Amsterdam need to take us forward.”

Hoenderboom said: “It’s great to be working in a place that offers opportunities to creatives and fuels personal growth. We are intrigued to be a part of the newly mixed creative floors between DDB and Tribal Amsterdam, further blurring the boundaries between above- and below-the-line work. We’re ready to get our teeth into a broad scope of clients and continue pushing excellent ideas forward – who knows where.”
