Airlines including BA, Qantas, WestJet and Virgin have painted numerous aeroplanes with moustaches to show support for Movember.

The annual month-long charity campaign asks men to grow out their facial hair to raise awareness, support and money for men’s health.

A British Airways spokeswoman for health services said: "We're always delighted to support Movember.

"It's a charity that's very dear to our hearts here at British Airways, especially as our former chief executive officer Lord Marshall suffered from the disease."
