Neil Collard has been named as the new MD at independent digital agency e3.

The appointment follows the departure of e3 founder and former MD, Stuart Avery, who has stepped aside after fifteen years.

Collard has now been tasked with growing e3’s business over the next three years as well as managing the London and Bristol offices. Collard has worked across client services, new business and strategic functions for the agency and brings to the role fourteen years of industry experience, six of those with e3. He also played a leading role in the agency’s senior management team dictating the general direction of e3 for the last four years.

Prior to joining e3, Collard worked with AKQA in the account team for the BMW group business account, working on websites for the likes of Land Rover, Mini and MG. In 2000 he joined Good Technology as a digital strategist and spent six years developing and implementing the digital strategy for Audi UK.

Speaking of his new role, Collard commented: “I believe we have some of the best talent in the industry and look forward to continuing to work together in this new role to increase our clients’ fame and help unlock their digital potential.”

Former MD and founder of e3, Stuart Avery, added: “Neil has been an invaluable asset to e3 and his input has been instrumental to our current success, with a 20% growth in revenue for the first half of the year. I have every confidence he will successfully drive the agency’s continued growth.”
